More exciting news at the Suspense & Thrillers Group…as you might already know that Keith Katsikas, author of “2060: The Newton Prophecies” will be leading a discussion on his book. We don’t have a date set up yet, but will in a couple of weeks. In the meantime, Amanda Stevens, author of THE DOLLMAKER, has also agreed to lead the discussion for May’s Group Read, which is THE DOLLMAKER. I’m really excited as this is something new and might become a new trend with our group discussions. If you’ve already read the book, come join us. If not, see if you can grab a copy. There’s still time as the discussion won’t begin until the first week of May.
The February group read in the Dean Koontz group will be "The Husband". I hope you will be able to join us. Also, the voting is up now for our March read. Please stop by and cast your vote!
This is just a reminder to let you know that we will be reading and discussing "The Darkest Evening of the Year" in January in The Dean Koontz group. We hope you can join us!
Thanks for the note and the friendship, graciej! I'll look forward to seeing you around Shelfari!
I see you've got a Karin Slaughter on your shelf. I recently read my first by here and was hooked!
Hi, you have some great books on your shelf. Beautiful profile picture also:)
I got your name from your sister, who read my novel and asked that I look you up since you're also an aspiring author. It's a hard going aspiration, but definitely worth it in the end--One of those things where the process needs to be the fulfilling part, and anything else that comes from it is just the icing. If you have a chance, check out the piece I wrote last week for my literary agent's blog, on perseverence towards getting published: http://bookendslitagency.blogspot.com/It basically says that in the end, all your wildest dreams really are possible if you keep at it!Elizabethhttp://www.ElizabethJoyArnold.com
Thanks for the invitation. I have Pride and Prescience on my book shelf. I loved it and will read all of her Mr. and Mrs. Darcy mysteries because of it. I just have too many books lined up right now because I am trying to write fast enough to get my next novel completed in time to enter it in a contest.
As an avid gardener, I love your sign-in photo! did you grow the tulips? Saw quite a few favorites on your shelves, too. Have you read Antonia Frazier's bio of Marie Antoinette? As an avid reader of both historical nonfiction, historical fiction, historical romance fiction and mystery/suspense, I also picked up a few intriguing titles to add to my wish list. Sigh. Just what I need--more intriguing books in my TBR stack!
