It's not sad, it's just that I'm laaaaaazy and I don't really have any interest in becoming unlazy about posting my books. I like to see what others are reading, including you, dearest chum! And yes, I'm going to the Book House's "The Bird Artist"---I've been going, but only when I'm interested in the book and there's not other conflict.
Sweetness at the bottom of the pie is one of the books I chose for the book discussion group at TPL!
How are you enjoying Mudbound? We will have to plan to get together soon. How is next week - I'll see if everyone else is available. Any ideas of a place?
Gretchen it was great to hear from you. We all need to get together again - besides for Ellene's party. Did you love the Graveyard Book? Sam's graduation was wonderful. She is working at TPL part time while looking for a permanent job. THings are good. Jyna is moving to NYC and I will be taking her spot in Adult Services. It should be interesting. Let's try to get together soon. I am way backed up on my reading. Just starting The Good Thief.
