What can I say... I love to read. I own a ton of books and I am slowly trying to read
them all... but of course as I go along something new and interesting comes out or
I get a great recommendation and more is added to my great list of "I Plan to Read"...
but that's ok, because it keeps things interesting and there is never an... more »

I thought it was a good concept and story about a girl who forgets the last three years of her life due to amnesia and tries to figure out how she became the "bitch boss from hell" everyone claims her to be. This was not the best Kinsella book I have read, but it was still an entertaining read. I do wish she would have told us what happened with the fish she put in her purse!

I really loved this story. It really makes you question what you think is right. Not everything is always black and white, sometimes there is a shade of grey.

I finally decided to read a Harry Potter novel. I kept myself from getting dragged into the series thinking that these books weren't for me. I was wrong. I can sort of see now what the whole craze is about. This being the first book, I think it was still well written. The plot was interesting and the amount of detail put into the story was just enough to bring it to life. I was surprises at how much was able to happen in such a short novel, I can't even imagine what the larger books have in store!

I started this book while I was on vacation in the Dominican. Since this was a "beach read" I thought it would be appropriate to start reading it while I was on the beach. The book started off good and I was really drawn into the characters and the storyline. I kept reading and reading hoping to get to the part where all the drama was going to take place, only to find out that I was already done the book and nothing significant happened. I really thought more was going to happen, that there was some great secret that was going to be reveiled. I was disappointed to find out that all the suspense was leading up to Caitlin being a liar and a dead beat mom... I could have told you that from the beginning.

I am giving this book the full five stars because I did love the series as a whole. In the end I was satisified with the outcome. I think the ending leaves it open for some future novels, maybe about Nessie? and the great part is Bella and Edward will never die, so there might be a possibility we will see them again. But for now I think I had my dose of Edward and Bella and will be happy to move on to something new.

I absolutely LOVE this book. What an incredible story and Julia Scheeres is a fantastic writer! I really hope that she will write something else no matter what it is, fiction, memoir, whatever.. she is good. I don't want to spoil anything but I cried at the end. A combination of race, religion, family and love. What a heartfelt story this really is. Thanks to the fellow shelfarian that recommended this to me!!!

A good erotic novel about a woman who leaves her regular life to explore her sexual desires and those of other men by establishing a club where all fantasies come true.

I really liked the way the after life was described in this book. Elsewhere is an interesting idea of how things may be when we die. I wasn't too crazy in the authors style of writing though. At some points it felt like I was reading something written by a 6th grader.

An incredible and original tale. Very powerful writing. Favourite quote -- "You play, you win, you play, you lose. You play. It’s the playing that’s irresistible. Dicing from one year to the next with the things you love, what you risk reveals what you value."

It was okay. I really enjoyed Something Borrowed and Something Blue and I was hoping this one would be a bounce back after Baby Proof, but I feel Emily Giffin is losing her spark. I like her writing style but I think the story could have been more, for me it wasn't enough.
