Hello, KJ. I’m the author of The Sandal Maker, a new novel about the public ministry of Jesus from a unique point of view, a little controversial at times, but you will see him as never before. It’s a story that will take you on a fascinating journey in first century Galilee. Have you ever wondered what is was like to live in those times? What part did women play in his ministry? Was he the first feminist? Were the miracles real? Why did Judas betray the Master? How does the gospel of Jesus compare to the gospel according to Peter and Paul? This is a “must read” for those on a true spiritual quest. You can read reviews at Amazon.com. I’m including a link to copy and paste. Let me know what you think.

Hello, "Goober". Was browsing thru some of the different readers and came across you. I had to laugh at what your Husband calls you. It made me think of what I call my Wife, Eileen. At times I call her "Pollock", meaning she does dumb stuff at times. She's Polish, was born and raised in a Coal Mining Town North of here, named Minersville, PA. It's all in fun, of course.

We enjoy going to the "Gateway of The Smokies" ourselves, when we can. The Great Smoky Mountains are always a great treat for us. Most of my Relation can be traced back to the South. Greenville, TN is a place that I remember well in my younger years.

Stay well, Goober! I'll be watching.

"goober"???? you look nothing at all like andy of mayberry's local auto mechanic unless that stupid lil hat he always wore makes much more of a difference than i can imagine. if you are here at this site then moe is too i'll bet and i want you both as literary (and literal) friends. i will certainly consider your book recommendations and what a selection of reads you already have here! i am waaaaaaaaaay behind on my reading but maybe with your help i can stop lollygagging and "brush up my shakespere".

A tree missed my car by 1 1/2 feet durring that storm. The hail had no effect on my car though. What kind of honda did you get? Is it brand-spankin?
I'm just reading like I'm never going to see a book again.

This is so strange...I was just thinking about you last night. We are on high ground, about a block and a half past Blanchette Park so we are not in any danger from the flood water. Last week it was bank full, I haven't been downtown since last Thursday so I don't know where the water is now. If I get up early enough tomorrow morning I may take the camera out and see if I can get some pictures. I hope you and yours are doing well. It was great to hear from you.

We were on the east coast, stationed in New River, which was part of Camp Lejeune, (Marine Corps) in Jacksonville. But every chance we could we would drive off to quaint places like Sneads Ferry, Emerald Isle and Wilmington which I loved. We haven't been back in years probably has changed in 20 years!~~CJ
