Hey there! Kinsella is light with a very ditsy main character and not too bad with the British slang and such, but it is definitely in there. The one Kristen gave you is the next in the series that I have to read. Take a look through just the first chapter and you should be able to get a sense of the slang and such. I think I have that one in my pile of books to read, but will double check and let you know. Right now with all my stuff in boxes for the work on the basement (that isn't happening btw) it is hard for me to remember all of what I have.

As for Lancaster, I love her! I am going to try and find another of her books to read next. I think she is very similar to Meg Cabot and Jen Weiner. I will definitely save the one I have for you.

Not too much reading for me lately either. Between getting up too early in the am to go to the gym and working until way too late at night I am just too exhausted for reading much of anyting!

    Hey!

The pic was taken on our boat while we were out for Mother's Day. Thanks for the compliment! I never finished Lipstick Jungle. I hit the wrong button on Shelfari and can not figure out how to delete it!!! I had it in my "now reading" section. I had Love the One You're With on hold at the library, they called to say it was in, and I only had a 14 day check-out since it was a new book. What I had read so far, I liked, so I'll get back to it eventually. I'm reading Ivy Chronicles now (love it!) and now you've piqued my interest with the new Coban book, so it will be awhile before I pick it up again! What are you reading now?

NONE! Of the 950+ books he has on his shelf they are ALL about sex. prostitutes and such. Even the other friends he has seem a bit 'off'. Worst part is I can't delete, remove or replace my picture, so I am stuck with the one up there now. LOL!

Thanks, that one is old. Haven't told you yet, but I just cut off 14.5 inches of my hair last Saturday and donated it. I picked out a great medium brunette color that is great for summer. The gal I see is graduating from the school in 6 weeks and will then be out on her own. She's even going to keep her prices similar to what we pay at the spa school since we are willing to follow her! I will have to take a picture this week and post one so you can see what it looks like. I LOVE it!!

Lost and Found was very cute, but predictable in some respects. Did you ever read Marley and Me by John Grogan? That was a much better book, lots of laughs and tears. I thought Lost and Found would be the same way and even prepared myself for crying again, but never really made quite the same connection with this book. I guess in short, worth a read, but not high up on the list of books. I will save it for you and send your way.

    Renee,
I haven't kept up with my books. i have been reading James Patterson books, but I can't remember them all. Hope all is well. Just figured out how to send a message. I've been trying to read when I work out, but the writing needs to be bigger. Have to finish my assignments for class.

Yes I did forget how to read, smart-alec! : )I'm still reading that *&^% Grisham book! Some of us just can't be as good as you!
Just read my last note to you...my mom went to a book signing luncheon last week and it was for the author of Midwives. She said he was super-nice and very interesting. She bought two of his books and had them signed.

OK...just figuring out this note-stuff! Midwives was just OK. It was an Oprah book. I was sitting next to a guy on the plane Thursday that gave me the names of a whole bunch of books to try. Ordinary Heroes, Map of Bones and Plumb Island. He said they were all similar to DaVinci Code, with historical backgrounds, since I told him that was my favorite book ever. I haven't read Angels and Demons yet, and he told me to read that too. Have you read it yet?

Just finished 3rd Degree. I thought this was his best in the series so far. Friday starts the TV series & I am interested to see if it matches the books! I now need to get my hands on the 4th one.
