I'm a writer, living in southern Spain. I moved here two years ago and I've been totally inspired by the wonderful landscape, the time, the freedom that Spain has given me to write. I've always written, but never so intensely. Whilst here, I've written eight books, submitted five and had three accepted for publication. I'm still waiting to hear... more »

I actually wrote this book! It's all about a young boy who discovers an ancient, forgotten well near his new home. What he unearths brings him into contact with a malevolence that is intent on reclaiming the hidden secret of the site; riddled with lots of twists and thrills, murder and mayhem, this is a book aimed at young adults but with themes that everyone will enjoy.
The Black Leaf Publishing Group are republishing this book next month (November). It's been thoroughly revised and parts have been rewritten to make it into a very good read which I hope you enjoy.

Up to now, I've thoroughly enjoyed this book. The dialogue is very believable and drives the story on. For some curious reason, Harvey likes to describe clothes in great detail. I've noticed this throughout the book and I've never really come across it before. He seems especially adept at women's clothing. Perhaps this is all relevant to the story, I don't know...But, as to the rest, this is a good, solid story, with strong characters and plenty of twists to keep you guessing. I love the way he just slips little bits of information in, not unlike the way Agatha Christie used to. You know these are important, but you haven't go a clue why! Great stuff.
A quick addition - I've now finished this book and found it a very satisfying read. I will be seeking out further books by this author. Recommended.
