I can't believe I left off "Catcher In The Rye." I think everyone could be helped by that book.

I looked through your favorites and that may be the push I need to read Dune as well as some Shakespeare. You seem to enjoy philosophy, so Richard Bach might be interesting. Gibran's "Sand and Foam" is a soothing book. "The Island of Dr. Moreau" is tightly written and still has plenty to make you ponder. "The Stepford Wives" doesn't waste any words and is terrifying with just the right amount of gallows humor. "On The Beach," "The Grapes of Wrath" and "Giovanni's Room" changed my life. "p.s. Your Cat Is Dead" still makes me laugh out loud after several readings.
