I'm Gerald. 18 year old Idahoan Bahá'í. Although I have a history of obsession with Science Fiction and Fantasy and still have an affinity for those two genres, I am interested in Russian and American classics, books about practical and comparative spirituality, biographies, and Middle-Eastern history/present.
I like new books just fine, but I feel like a book gains something when it is read and loved by many different people. I think old books with stains and folds and all the signs of years of use are somehow greater and more aesthetically pleasing, as reading is a relationship between book and reader, and the more readers that more dynamic the relationship. I get my books right now through Paperspine and my local library. Once I can afford it I hope to start buying books, and lending/giving them away prolifically after I finish them.
God Bless,
Gerald
