Nearing two decades of life, I realize I have so much to do! One of the most impressionable times in my life was visiting England. It was a week-long road trip all the way from Manchester through London and back. We saw Anne Hathaway's garden, Buckingham Palace, Chatsworth, Lyme Park, and a myriad of other sites that have inspired generations of writers. Not that England is all-inclusive. Which brings me to my revelation: I have so much left to see! No wonder writing is so important! It fills the empty gaps of trips we'll never go on, places we'll never visit, and people we'll never know. We should experience the world as much as we can. But at the end of the day, overwhelmed by how much we haven't done, we can sit down with a good book and soak the rest in vicariously.
After my profound prologue...on the subject of books, I cautiously name my favourites as "River Secrets," "The Goose Girl," "Princess Academy," and "Howl's Moving Castle" by Diana Wynne Jones. My least favorite book of all time is currently "The Sound and the Fury."
I hope you can find something in common. Enjoy my sometimes enwisened, sometimes nonsensical thoughts.
