The first book that really got me into reading was "Demon in my View" by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes. I was at the library waiting for a computer to open up so I could use the internet and I saw the spin of the book and it caught my interest. So I figured that I would just read a few pages of the book until a computer was opened. I ended up taking the book home and finishing it within that day. Since then I have read all but one of Amelia Atwater-Rhodes books - I am currently reading Persistence of Memory by her. I don't remember which author I read after that, but I have read a lot. But the following list will give you quite an idea:
Riley Jenson Guardian Novels by Keri Arthur, can't wait for Bound to Shadows to come out!
The Hollows Series by Kim Harrison, read White Witch Black Curse and loved it!
I will be reading Once Dead, Twice Shy by Kim Harrison - book one of her Madison Avery Series
The Maximum Ride Series by James Patterson
Anita Blake Vampire Hunter Series by Laurell K. Hamilton, I finished reading Skin Trade...I freaking loved it.
The Mercedes Thompson Series by Patricia Briggs
Some of the Sookie Stackhouse Series by Charlaine Harris - currently reading Dead and Gone.
Some of the Aurora Teagarden Series by Charlaine Harris
Jaz Parks series by Jennifer Rardin
Vampire Kisses series by Ellen Schrieber
The Keisha'ra Series by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes
The Den of Shadows Books by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes
A couple of books from the Argeneau Series by Lynsay Sands
Wicked Game by Jeri Smith-Ready, waiting for Bad to the Bone to come out.
The Twilight Saga by Stephenie Meyer
Stray by Rachel Vincent - want to read the rest of the Wildcat Series though.
Reservation Blues by Sherman Alexie
Dirty Game by Shannon Holmes
Blood and Chocolate by Annette Curtis Klause
The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants by Ann Brashares
The Gift by Richard Paul Evans
The Color of Water by James McBride
And continuing to find more books to read to add on to this collection! I also like to write when I can, but it not as easy - there always seems to be a book that needs to be read in the way - so book wins over writing.
