I'm an artist, a dancer, a philosopher King, a visualist, a poet, a writer, a verbal jest, a calm ocean in the turmoil of life, a world citizen of galactic nature, a non-conformist, apolitical, in short an individual. I believe in true individuals only and never opted for masses and never will unless they carry the weight of qualifications... more »

    Hi Galvanize,
Sorry I didn't get back to you earlier.
Actually you are too late in warning me of not watching the movie. I completely understand where you are coming from on that one! Very poor acting if you ask me. And no, don't worry I won't mention anything about the book to movie adaptation. I agree there too. :)

I read above that you are into reading goth, that is something that I really haven't explored yet. I have read a couple of Eve Silver's Gothic romances, I thought they were good and quite enjoyed them actually. Do you have any that you can recommend? Especially in the erotic or romance department?

I have to agree that as a whole, the series is repetitious but then again taking into context the age group that she has written it for, she can't be harshed too badly. The reason that I liked it was the way she brought about the Romeo and Juliet theme between the main characters. Now I didn't care as much for Breaking Dawn, of course I accepted and I think she did a very good job with wrapping everything up, finishing anything that was left hanging even in the previous books, but maybe I was feeling more of the way you did with the first two by the time I got to then end of #4 and didn't enjoy it as much as the first ones.

Ok, so a question then....which ones would you suggest?

Oh, BTW, great profile description :)

Oh, don't get me wrong, gender should not have anything to do with what one reads, but as far as Twilight goes, most men wouldn't touch it let alone read it. It's is just nice to come across a guy who can appreciate a good book, no matter what the genera. So, what did you think of the Twilight series?

    NO!

I meant JASS Club. In what is the correct spelling for what most folk refer as Jazz. The spell of JASS! is and was the original way the word Jazz was spelled. a white,
jass trumpeter, from a band called the Original DixieLand band....decided to change it from it original spelling in the early 1900's.

At the time he petttitioned for the change: He....but the rest of the band did no such thing....began to protest that they....."The Original Dixieland band, were in the orginators of the music as well. But as for the name: "It is commonly said" or
reported....that the true originators of the music called JASS! Gave it the name on

this wise.....I don't know if you are familiar with this or not....but the cats that who created JASS, was not able to patronage the very clubs that they played. So, after
their gigs were concluded....they would patronage the Bordello's. Now they scent of Jasmine was the fragrance of choice in that era. And the originators coined the

name of their music JAS. They said that the music was as sweet as the scent of Jasmine....comsequently creating the name JAS.....which later derived into JASS....and / or Jazz.

Thanx very much accepting my friendship.

Hello. Thanks for the Twilight response. I did see the movie. It was what got me to read the book. The acting was bad and parts of the movie felt like a cheap B movie. But the characters were endearing and the book is always better than a movie. The book wasn't what I thought it would be. It was so much better. You said, trilogy, but there are four books. Is this because you didn't like the last book Breaking Dawn?

Hi Galvanize, Welcome and thank you for joining the Bibliophile club group. You sound like a very interesting guy. Where are you from? I notice that you have several books of Leonardo Dad Vinci. I went to the Leonardo Da Vinci inventions Museum in Florence. He was certainly a brilliant and multi talented man. A genius, ahead of his time. I hope that you enjoy your new group, and that you will join us in our discussions, Happy reading, Silvana
