A multi-award-winning novelist and speaker, I write for Steeple Hill and Barbour Pulbishing. Athough I'd written since I was a child, I had no thought of writing for publication until many years later in 1995. I wrote articles for national Christian magazines on parenting and teen issues using my counseling expertise, then Sunday school materials including short stories, and I also sold poetry and devotional materials. In 1997, I decided to try my hand at what I loved--fiction--and I sold my first novel in 1998. Since that time I've sold 42 novels and have 3 million books in print. I was thrilled last year to sell, Writing the Christian Romance, to Writers Digest. The book has a December 2007 release date and will provide invaluable techniques for anyone who wants to write Christian fiction, especially novels that includes romance.
