    The only horror story I've read by Stephen King was "Pet Sematary". The Stand scared me too badly by the end of the first chapter. I couldn't go farther.

    Eye of the Dragon was a pretty easy read. I don't remember it being that long.

    Oh, and as far as good fantasy series go, have you read Stephen King's Eye of the Dragon, yet? I really like that one, and his Talisman (which he wrote with someone else). Talisman is sorta the concept as the Dark Tower, but different.

    I should have rated Clan of the Cave Bear higher. Its actually a really good book and the second one (the horse one) wasn't bad either. The other ones were too much about the main character's romance with some dude. Boring...

    When I was younger I had to finish a series no matter what. I also use to read authors (which is the reason I've read probably over 100 Peirs Anthony books - only a few of which I can remember the names of).
