I'm a designer originally from Colombia, currently living in London. Love to read good story telling, and some more technical and insightful books. Always looking for the next book to read, and always with a big pile of book to read next.

Hey Felipe, thanks for the message. We'd love to have you back to visit us. There are still a few spectacular places we'd like to take you round to see. Gabriel tries but doesn't hear much from your father via email. He seems to be a man short of words or news when it comes to emailing. If you ever do come back this way (and we'd also love to have your Dad AND Mom come visit, too!) be sure it's late June through early September. Those are the best months with great weather. Last June when you came to visit it was quite unseasonably cold for that time of year. We still managed to have a good time, though.

Gabriel has a book recommendation for you. Maybe you had better start a list, HA HA! Last year he read THE GIVEN DAY by Dennis Lehane and really liked it a lot.

I hope you're having a lazy Sunday and get some reading time in!
    Enjoy!

Thanks for the message, Felipe. It's still cold in Chicagoland. There are signs of spring with the flowers coming up out of the ground but no sign of leaves yet and the wind is chilly. We're now on daylight savings time so it's light an hour later into the evening now which we love- gives us more daytime to play. We can't wait for summer. Any chance in you guys coming back for a visit this summer? Gabriel is reading Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenides. I read it a few years ago and it's one of my favorites. We send hugs back to you. Take care of yourself.

You might want to look into a book by Dave Eggers called "What is the What." I haven't read it myself but have sold many a copy and am often told what a good book this is. Check out a book review and see what you think. And also this book by Eggers " A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius." Either of these may appeal to your literary taste.

Hey Felipe! What a surprise to see you on Shelfari. I'm delighted to be your friend here. I've been a member of the site for a couple of years and am working on logging in all of my to-be-read books in the den upstairs. So far, I've listed over 800 on my Shelfari shelves. It's a great way to keep track of what I have. I don't spend much time listing the books I've already read. Your smart to start building your book shelves here now. I wish you many happy reading hours.
