I'm an avid reader, Horror being my favored genre...though any book is my friend..no judgement passed until my eyes scan through and not even then most times; I am always searching for new authors to add to my list of favorites and will gladly pass the word on to my friends for them to read also~

I'm an avid reader, Horror being my favored genre...though any book is my friend..no judgement passed until my eyes scan through and not even then most times; I am always searching for new authors to add to my list of favorites and will gladly pass the word on to my friends for them to read also~
A lot in my life has changed since I first joined shelfari. I have always been a true reader..that is if there is nothing around at the moment for me to read except the grocery list, I will read that rather than nothing..but somehow, I have become somewhat of a writer in my on rght, developing my own writing style and it consists of short stories of all genre and poetry which I have been writing my entire life. I am watching a life long love growing slowly into something solid. I have had a lot of poetry put in to print out on poetry.com and several were added to an audio disc. The greatest writing task I have had for many years is putting down the real story of our daughter, Sara. She was born with multiple handicaps and was mentally retarded. She was the love of our lives. Her death rocked our world and still causes repercussions much like the pebble dropped into a placid lake leaves its widening rings floating to the edges of the shore. I have much to do before the finished story presents itself.
On a sadder note...I had written of our two dogs, Cody and Sammantha. We lost them both within three months of this year..Cody left us May 29 at the age of 102 dog years and Sammi had to leave on September 23, age 72 dog years. They were our furred children and we are recovering slowly from the loss. Petless now..we have our eyes open along with our minds. A new pup is in the future..we just need a bit more time.
I never realized I should probably update until I read this over and my heart rocked when I saw the dogs names here..so that's it..along with all the random everyday things life dishes out..I guess I am now current..
This remains the same: I have always thought that if it was possible for any of us 'ordinary' folk to choose which creature from the Netherworld we could become, I would choose the Vampire...yet..I would be comfortable being a Werewolf as well...I love the full moon~especially if a misty fog covers the surrounding area the same night. My husband thinks I would make an excellent Witch, *evil cackle here*..he just might be right~
Stargazer~
