“This book was clever. It's very much like a less involved Mysterious Benedict Society. It's quite wholesome and fun! I love the characterization, but be warned it is made for very young readers and has the definitions of words worked into the story. I read this book in about an hour. I cannot wait to continue in the series!”

“This book was simply fluffy. The story was boring, it moved slowly, you don't care about anyone at all in the story and the ending was seriously stupid. Good for a fluffy quick time waster, but not much else.”

Simple Food for Busy Families: The Whole Life Nutrition Approach

“This book trows a TON of information at you. I am a huge fan of the whole foods movement and if you are as well a lot of this will be a repeat. The recipes are really more of a mix-and-match type of deal and really there are not a bunch of options. This is however a great intro on the Whole Foods Movement and the recipes that are in there are delicious!”

“This is the second book in the Julia Grey Series. It was an improvement on the first book for sure. There was a lot going on and as always a TON of description. If that's not your thing then skip this series for sure! I love the interaction between the family members and how it truly is a whodunit kind of book. ”

One Thousand White Women: The Journals of May Dodd: A Novel

“I actually really liked this book. It's about the life of May Dodd and her adventure with the Native Americans via the Government program BFI [Brides for Indians]. It's a lively story with a great collection of characters. It moves pretty quick, but my favorite part was learning about the daily life of the Native American tribe that the women lived with. ”

“If you're new to cooking in general then this is a great book. The meals truly are simple and you can throw them together quite easily. The only thing I think that should have been stressed is that with meals that are super simple the BEST ingredients are needed. But I love this book and want to add it to my cookbooks for sure!”

“The idea of this book is great, but there is hardly ANY fusion with the recipes. It's really more just like sometimes you have Asian means and sometimes you have Mediterranean meals. The authors for some reason rubbed me the wrong way and the recipes seemed rather boring. I thing I was just hoping for more from this book.”
