NOTE: I use my 'I'm Reading' section as a visual guide of my library queue therefore some of the things on this list are on hold and are not in my possession. I swear I am not reading like 30+ books at a time. It does help me keep in mind what I have coming and what I currently have.

I am in my late twenties, live in the Pacific... more »

"Madman in the Mirror" is a story about a man - Henry Johnson - who is raised by a psychopath and forced to watch - even as a baby - his father murder people on a regular basis. He is also abused and brainwashed, turning him into a sociopath. Henry stalks and murders people efficiently - he tells himself that he may be a killer, but he doesn't want people to suffer. He is haunted by hallucinations, including a specter in his mirror that talks to him.

“A.J. is a master at creating word images that remain with the reader long after the book is finished.” Richard S. Friedman

Murder, romance and the paranormal. It is sprinkled with humor. Also contains ghosts, a dog that’s adopted by Henry and a crazy hooded merganser duck. And a baby as his arch enemy.

“It held me spellbound and at attention all through the story.” “Fascinating peek in the mind of a serial killer.” “A most imaginative and brilliant book.”

I'm halfway through the first volume, and as with all Rutherfurd's tomes, it took a while to get into the flow of the stories, but I love his work, and I'm liking this one very much. I'll let you know how it goes as I progress.

The Pink Carnation books are great for when one is looking for something light. I've read up to and including The Temptation of the Night Jasmine (the fifth book, I think).

What are you studying at college? You must be happy that you're almost finished.

Hi Catherine. Thanks for the friendship request. We do have similar tastes - I see we have about 250 books in common! What are you currently reading? I'm reading Revolution by Jennifer Donnelly. It's YA and takes place in both the modern day and Revolution-era France (hence the title).
