Hello everyone,

I'm Fred. I write thrillers and mysteries and even have a YA novel in the works. I'm also an avid reader. I'm a thriller junkie which is probably where my writing tendencies come from, but I've been known to read science fiction too.

See you in the funny pages!!!

Since you are from Stillwater, you might be interested in the group Minnesota Readers on Shelfari. They are either Minnesotans or have a connection to MN. They only discuss books by Minnesota authors.

I just ordered your book in paperback from Amazon a few minutes ago. I wish it were hardcover, as we don't put paperbacks in our home library. However, this book sounds like something I'll love: action, humor, thrills and mysterious happenings. I'll let you know what I think of it.

You are hiding your load under a bushel. Ferris Bluff is a smashing book I'm about halfway through and loving every page. Try to get some more written I can really feel the deep south of America and feel completely at home with it.

Thanks, Fred, for the tip on David Housewright. It's a bit more difficult to determine the order of the Mac McKenzie series. Do you hapen to know it? As I'm sure you are aware, John Sanford's Lucas Davenport/Prey series offers good Twin Cities settings.

Hi Fred - Found it, bought it on Amazon.co.uk, will read it within the next week (I have a bit of a list right now). Looking forward to the read.

I like your comments about thrillers. The last James Patterson I read was appalling. I actually threw it across the room - never done that before! Cheers! -Liz
