Still as gripping and fast paced as usual. Even with a bit of new characters, I don't feel that the characters are too many. A big twist at the end, can't wait for the final book!

So many interesting controversial issues in this book! I enjoy the thrill of Langdon and Sophie's ride around Paris and London, and the twist at the end.

I recommend this book for conspiracy theories enthusiasts ;)

Albeit a bit slow-paced, this action based book offers you a pretty interesting story. We see some of the characters from the previous Deus Ex here, which add a bit of twist there. Who knows 'he' has been working for Illuminati all along?

A good side/back story for Deus Ex: Human Revolution, but not enough to keep me finish it quickly. Recommended if you are a Deus Ex franchise fan.

Simply one of the best book I've read.

I can't believe this is Andrea Hirata's first novel. The way he delivers every sentences are just so poetic, yet comprehensible and light. The story flows perfectly, and his description of Belitong and its inhabitant are easily imaginable. You'll be depressed, you'll smile, and you'll laugh together with this book. You'll grow with them and in the end, you'll feeling like you're a part of SD/SMP Muhammadiyah.

    Highly recommended.

The book is awesome. I have never read such intense reading from an Indonesian author. I have a special love and interest for medieval Indonesian kingdoms, so this book I love so much.

I laughed, I got angry, I saddened... And I feel empty in the end. Just like everyone else in the story, in the end.

  • Totto-Chan's Children: A Goodwill Journey to the Children of the World
    • Rated 3 stars

This book made me depressed. So many children around the world suffer, and here we are, having fun and partying like no tomorrow.

In some part, Kuroyanagi-san was very naive. Sometimes I can't stand her naivety. Some facts also considered dodgy. Maybe you should recheck your facts, Kuroyanagi-san.

All in all, the book shows you that Kuroyanagi cares and knows children very well. Although can be boring, the book shows you part of the life we haven't touched yet.

Narrative story is not for me. I could not really appreciate the story, but I could feel that the story is very good and I liked it.

A very touching story to read. The way Anna Sewell delivers the story is very good and you feel like Black Beauty yourself. You feel the happiness, the pain and the sadness Black Beauty feel.

    A recommended classic.
