You certainly seem to have captured the spirit of the Great British Beer festival...
Hi, just been checking out your blog. As a native of this "wet island" it makes interesting reading.

hi - thanks for the welcome. I've added a few books to the Feminist SF bookshelf and taking notes on what's already there.
would you like to join me as a friend. I am sgking123
Stephenson is an interesting writer for sure. He's extremely intelligent so it makes for very rich reading. My current absolute favorite right now is "Love Creeps" by Amanda Filipacci. It's a good mix of chick lit meets French intelligence with a homeless Freud muttering and wandering around somewhere in the background. It's the funniest thing I've ever read. If there's a next book you read, let that one be it. No, I'm not the author. It's just good.
"That Homer has appeared overnight in his y-fronts like a crop circle– if we pagans can’t laugh at that, we don’t really deserve our cakes and ale." True that! ;)
Thanks for the friend invite..never been to London...I'm going to check out your site as well!
Right now, I'm knitting some fabulous arm warmers out of purple karabella (yummy!) from a modified knitty.com pattern and a harry potter house scarf (ravenclaw). What are you working on??
I just 'tagged' you in the Apocalypse Lovers group's 'Tag and Tell' topic.
