I am 50 years old, have a son and a daughter ( now grown), been married to my high school sweetheart for going on 32 years. I have been a voracious reader ever since I learned to read. My favorite subjects are true crime, Renaissance and medieval history, WWII, the Holocaust but I will read any thing else that catches my interest. I am also an animal lover but cats are my favorite--there's nothing better than curling up with a good book and a cat on your lap (in my case several cats!). Our pet family also includes one hen, 2 male mice (Heath and Jake), a male rat, a snake, and a legless or glass lizard (my daughter is into reptiles). We currently have 12 felines in the house a few of which are rescues and are up for adoption ( I used to have 15 in the house until 3 of the kitties got adopted). « less
