I'm also an impatient reader; I can't seem to read as quickly as I like, and a story has to be pretty good to keep my interest. Of all the books I've reviewed here, I only managed to finish about one in four. I'm extremely picky and have little tolerance for telling (instead of showing), flowery prose, gratuitous profanity/vulgarity, and most 'classics'.

Therefore, when I rate a book with four and especially five stars, I hope you take note. It takes a lot to get a good review out of me. « less
