Good hearing from you once again! The last 2 books I've read were "A Faint Cold Heart" and "Indelible," books 3 and 4 in the "Grant County" series by Karin Slaughter - This is a mystery/suspense series. This writer is becoming one of my favorites, right there with Michael Connoly and George Pelecanos.

Currently I'm reading "This Human Season" by Louise Dean. It's about 2 families in 1979 Northern Ireland/Belfast during the high point of "The Troubles."

Next on my reading list? Not sure, but I'm ready for some light and fun/cheerful! Take care!

John Grisham's Ford County] is one of my favorite collections of short stories. The reviewers weren't too kind in their review . . . I enjoyed the book and thats what count. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Camping was wonderful! My wife and myself really enjoy traveling overseas (Turkey, Egypt, Ireland, the UK) and decided it was time to explore the US. Yellowstone National Park, the Grand Tetons, the Badlands, Mount Rushmore were incredible. Planning another camping trip in the spring to the Salton Sea in California and another trip in late spring to Utah.

Hello! Back from camping a couple of weeks ago. One of the audio books we listened to was 'Sea of Poppies.' If I rememeber correctly it was 15 discs and around 16-17 hours - and worth ever minute of listening time.

    Be well!

I noticed you'll be reading King's "Everythings Eventual." Great choice! I think this is Stephen King's best collection of short stories - enjoy and let me know what you thought of the stories.

You're welcome! I'm about half ways through "Pillars of the Earth" by Ken Follet and loving every page of it. Next I'll be reading Stephen King's "Wolves of Callas (another 1000 page book!)," book 5 of "The Dark Tower Series." We'll be camping in 2 weeks so we'll head to the library to find several audio books to listen to.

Hi, Farah, nice to meet you. These days I'm finishing Bill Bryson's wonderful "A Short History of Nearly Everything," (long book, but I highly recommend), and working on the sequel to my completed novel due out next Feb. Thanks for asking, how about you?
