I was born Anasthasha, but to get away from the struggled pronunciations I adopted the nickname Annie, and it has stuck ever since. I'm a 20 year old, full-time college student aiming for a major in Child/Developmental Psychology and a minor in art; I absolutely love working with kids although I doubt I'll ever have my own. I live in a crowded city called San Diego, a place that has never really felt like home to me. I’ve always yearned to live in a place where it’s cold and rains year round. I'm not a party girl, and I probably never will be. I'd rather go to the beach with my dog(&& he's a lab, not a sissy purse sized dog), watch a movie with friends, have mini road trip adventures or read in my super comfy bed. I have in my opinion, a damn good sense of humor, and laugh my butt off every day. I'm one of four kids, and consequently the middle child and I actually get along with my parents, who knew?
Like everyone else in the world I absolutely love music, and love going to concerts even more. Other hobbies include baking and cooking (I'm pretty damn good at both), writing, sketching, and photography. I'm also an art geek, I love creating, collecting, and studying it. I get giddy around the holidays, especially Halloween and am a huge collector of decorations. I also LOVE video games, I don’t care if it ruins brain cells, it’s fun, relieves stress, and is better than consuming narcotics.
When I was younger and ignorant to the marvelous world of books, I never gave them a chance to let their verses inspire my soul. I’m guessing this stemmed from attending private school for 13 years where they never let me chose what to read, instead they dictated what was, and was not acceptable. However, in the past few years I've fallen in love and have become a major book worm. I’ll read anything, novels, fan fiction, comics, dumb magazine articles; it doesn’t matter, I just have this need to read all the time. I spend every extra dollar I have on books. As far as genres go, I’ll read anything once, but if left to my own devices ill always gravitate towards the fiction and paranormal options. I hate it when books are made into movies, for the simple fact that they always let me down.
I'm a pretty easy going person and will talk to just about anybody so feel free to leave a note with book recommendations or w/e else is on your mind.
