I've always loved & lost myself in books, for as long as I can remember. My first cherished book was, I think, 'The Three Golliwogs' by Enid Blyton, which you can't seem to find in shops these days...

I love to be transported, head lost & faraway in a book, then looking up, surfacing, & feeling the more real for it.
I love words, finding new words, old words, forgotten & twinkly words. They are, after all, our palette, our arsenal - the more words you possess, the more you may express yourself, the more you find to express, surely?
And I love writing stories, feeling them fall from my fingertips when I'd not known what or who was coming next.
