I totally agree about The Girls' Guide....I liked it, but didn't come close to loving it. Let me know about your book club's opinion of The Reader.

Okay....I found The Reader disturbing and awkward to read....I don't think that you will be a fan.

no, i didn't read that essay, what Oxford edition was that in---a collection of American Short Stories? I usually make my own reader, but it'd be fun to include that too. Though anything that tell people "how to write" makes me a little nervous.

Just browsing your shelves and it reminded me to add the Mr Men books to my shelf. How could I forget them?

Did you ever see the TV series?

Thanks for accepting the invite. I read all of Woodson's books and I Hadn't Meant to Tell You This was my favorite. I also see that you have LOVE IS A MIX TAPE. I cried and cried while reading that book. Laughed a lot too, bought some of the music he mentioned. It was just wonderful. I read it back to back with ABOUT ALICE. Sweet, if not sad, combination.
