“Definitely a good read, would recommend to any teenager looking to do a report or looking for some quick information. Slightly slanted because of where the exhibit came from and I'm not sure I necessarily agree with how they portrayed Brundage, but enjoyable for some fast facts.”

“Do not read this book until you have a decent amount of time to invest in it. It's an amazing book, but you need to be able to devote a couple hours to getting involved in the book. I read the beginning chapters about three times before I managed to get through the book over Thanksgiving. Well worth it, but I guess I'm a little ADD.”

“Once I picked this book up, I didn't stop reading until I got to the end. The illustrated edition was wonderful and really gave a good perspective on what conditions these climbers were going up against. If you're going to read this, find the illustrated edition. ”

“Informative and suprisingly easy to read (not in terms of topic though). At times the lack of cites and footnotes is a bit annoying, but overall I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants more information on the years leading up to the fire and the aftermath and reforms created in response to the tradegy.”
