It was a twisted road to reading in my life. Children were not encouraged to read in my house, so it was an accidental stop at the small community library. I thought I was doing something wrong! The librarian showed me around, gave me a card ( I sure wish I still had that as a keepsake), and I felt like I as important!

It was a twisted road to reading in my life. Children were not encouraged to read in my house, so it was an accidental stop at the small community library. I thought I was doing something wrong! The librarian showed me around, gave me a card ( I sure wish I still had that as a keepsake), and I felt like I as important!
I love historical dramas, especially that include the evolution of cultures and countries. I don't like to limit myself though and will pick up books everywhere.
It would be nice to have enough room to have my own library in my home too. There is nothing like pulling a book off a shelf at a given moment to look something up.
Wish I would remember to jot down favorite lines too. Some times I come across a sentence that just makes me stop and catch my breath. « less
