(falls over laughing) It's Zadie Smith. She's hardly glam and does look rather about to drop dead, doesn't she? She needs to eat between the pages! Clearly her cleverness is not sustaining her as well as her books. Happy Maya day indeed!

I love Jon Lucien too! I noticed your avatar picture and then read your profile. Only then did I discover he was gone. I am so upset. Wonderful man. Wonderful musician.

Ms. E--just wanted to let you know that I read and enjoyed The Seduction of Mr. Bradley today. You are awesome. The last chapters and the ending had me crying, but it was the right ending. Thanks for letting the EP group know about it.

It's amazing how many people fail to recognize Miss Dandridge--folks who are old enough to know! And, really hilarious that I keep getting friend requests because "u r pretty"... people can be so strange.

Hi, and thanks for accepting me as a friend. I haven't read any recent E. Lynn Harris books because--well, I got tired of them. But I seriously doubt I could ghost write his books. Give me Ev, Bev, or Pearl Cleage anytime!

How very funny! All this time I just assumed, since he's always on his own, that he was a confirmed bachelor.

What a funny little review. Listen, I didn't even known Willie Brown was married, let alone that he's been so for 50 years! Does he have children, too?

I'm not sure that for OW there is a difference between "teaching a class" and "preaching to a class." Check out her website: she's attempting to set the world free.

Look at you and Willie B! Welcome back from the writing; it went well? Borges is a fine writer, probably best known for his Labyrinths, though apparently there are some more recent collections. He's a writer to get you thinking, that's for sure! Time, place, identity--never the same after Borges. I've never read anything else by Follett, and from what I've read, Pillars is a departure from the rest of his novels, which are thrillers. There are thrills a-plenty in it, but the setting and subject matter are different. No Nazis, but medieval monks and masons. Plenty of mayhem, romance, intrigue. It's fast-paced, which is good since it clocks in at 973 pages. I really enjoyed it.

    Francis Ray says

Widow Traci Evans sits in on meetings with the lovely ladies of the Invincible Sisterhood because for a little while she can feel as if she belongs. The members are all sweet older women who have lost their husbands, but not their passion for life. However, unlike the other women in the Sisterhood, Traci's husband died while cheating on her.

Traci has no intention of letting a man make a fool of her again. Not even if he begged. Even her newfound friend and neighbor, Maureen Gilmore, can't convince her to open her heart to love again. But when Maureen's gorgeous son Ryan admits he's attracted to Traci, she might have to rethink everything she knows about love. Maureen has some soul searching to do as well. She's interested in a sexy young policeman...and then the unthinkable happens, she starts having hot flashes

Two women - two impossible situations.

NOT EVEN IF YOU BEGGED new release date Jan 22.
