My name is Andi, I'm 27, and I reside just northeast of Dallas, TX. I finished my M.A. in Children's Literature in August of 2007, and I'll be staring my MS in Library Science in Fall 2008. Until recently I taught full time at a community college in North Carolina, and they've asked me to continue working for them from Texas as an online instructor. Yippeee!!! Book wise, I'm particularly interested in comics, the oral tradition, fairy tale retellings, adolescent literature, and contemporary American lit. Besides reading I enjoy travel (lots of conferences), cooking, gardening, spending time with family, blogging, and spending time with my my family.
The books on my main shelves are all titles I've read, owned or currently own and haven't read (lots of those). I'm trying to go through and rate/review all of the books I've read, but it'll probably take me a little while.
The books on my Favorites list are the ones I adore and would re-read in a heartbeat. Forget choosing only 10. I hate limitations. :)
The books on my wishlist are just that...wishes.
My "Reading" list are the books that live on my nightstand because I'm actively reading or working with them.
