  Hi Esme,
  
  I see you have listed Jodi Picoult books. I have read many of her books and was quite a fan of her earlier works. My favorite is My Sister's Keeper because it reminds me of the struggles and emotions we have had in our family around having a chronically sick child.
  
  I have not enjoyed her later books. The writing is still as fine but I have difficulaty relating to the characters. They seem so dark and selfish and even twisted.
  
  What do you think about this? What do you like/not like about her books?
  
  Fun to write about something other than LLL!
