I really like all of Francine Rivers' stuff, except the little individual books on one character that she did (there is a whole woman's series " Lineage of Grace") I didn't think they were too good. I like all of CS Lewis' books. He has The Screwtape Letters and of course the whole Lion, Witch and Wardrobe series. The Red Tent was really good, I don't remember who it is by, but it is on my shelf. I also really liked the Left Behind series, especially the first one. That is by Tim Lahaye and Jerry Jenkins.

I'm so glad that you liked The Mark of the Lion series. I have read part of This Present Darkness... but I am a big baby about scary books and it freaked me out. I have talked to several people who like scary books and they all loved it.

Erin, my favorite books of hers are the Mark of the Lion series. The first one is called "A Voice in the Wind". If you like Redeeming Love, I think you would really enjoy this series. One of my all time favorites.

Keeping the People who Keep you in Business is the title you're looking for. I just added it to my list! I'm reading The 4 Hour Work Week right now, and a few books on the Outer Banks of NC. What about you?

yes, I've gotten a few requests to be a friend, from those I don't know. I try hard just to keep up with my true "friends", so I haven't accepted any invitations yet! Jill, Vicki, Susie and I have a fun group going called High Schools Buds. We're on our 4th book together!

I haven't read The Priest, but have read some of her one character novellas about women of the Bible; "Unveiled", "Unashamed", and "Unshaken". I don't think they are anywhere near as good as her full length novels. The first one in the Mark of the Lion series is "A Voice in the Wind".

Erin, I'm one of Mona's High School friends. It looks like you like Christian fiction, and some of my favorite books are the Mark of the Lion series by Francine Rivers. I think you would really like them.

I'm sitting on my deck, with a bottle of wine, and candles glowing. Alison just left to meet up with some of her cousins. We sat out here and ate cheese and drank wine, but didn't talk about books...what a shame!
