HELLO EVERYONE, MY BOOK ***"THE AWAKENED ONE POETICS"*** has just been released. Read and meditate on Buddhist poetry for unity of the Mind and Body.
I have been writing and reciting poetry since middle school.
My inspiration to write came from my parents. However, my mother was the motivating force in my writing and reciting of poetry.
My Favorite Quote or Motto is: "I will instruct and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you and watch over you." Psalm 32:8
Publications and Achievements: Joseph Spence, Sr. is a Goodwill Ambassador from the State of Arkansas. He has published the following three books of poetry: "The Awakened One Poetics (2009)" "Trilogy Moments for the Mind, Body and Soul (2006)," and "A Trilogy of Poetry, Prose and Thoughts for the Mind, Body and Soul (2005)." His publications include: Taj Mahal Review, World Haiku Association, Phoenix Magazine, Word Catalyst Magazine, Joyful online Magazine, Timbooktu, Mobius Magazine, International Who's Who In Poetry and others. His scholastic Awards include: MATC President’s Award Finalist (2006), Lamp of Knowledge Award (2005), Phi Theta Kappa International Scholastic Order-Honor Society (2001), National Vocational-Technical Honor Society (1999), and Meritorious Service Medal (1996) just to name a few. Joseph is the inventor of the Epulaeryu and Seventh Heaven poetic forms and is also known as the "Epulaeryu Master."
