Afghanistan is really good, much better (and a lot safer) than iraq.

I am currently a project manager here for a security company which is very enjoyable and a bit of a challenge.

I have the evenings to read but getting anything decent to read is a bit of a challenge so I have to lug a big bag of books out here when I return from Leave to keep me going.

How is the new job going?

Well I am planning to work hard the next couple of years and am planning a last long trip: Russia, China,Tibet, Japan and back though SE Asia and India, then I might put my feet up for a while. Will try to have a look around Bombay/Mumbai or whatever it is called then.

Done: Delhi,Udapur,Lucknow, Cawnpore, Calcutta (Amazing city) been up to the Himachel Pradesh - Brilliant, and my favourite: Darjeeling. Would like a look round Bombay one day.If all goes according to plan, I should be back in India in a couple of years for a last lap.

No, not been to Bombay/Mumbai, but been to India 4 times the first time for 5 months just travelling around. I love India, it is a huge place and an adventure around every corner!
