Cave ab homine unius libri

I'm a chronic insomniac, and get a lot of reading done in the early quiet hours of sleeplessness......then I spend every free minute of the rest of the day reading! I love reading.
I love horror(especially zombies & vampires) mysteries(Sherlock Holmes & Aloysius Pendegast from the Preston & Child books are... more »

Enigma, a book titled "The Sherlockian" just came out so you will probably want to glom onto a copy. Also, for a little horror check out "The Hundredth Man" by Jack Kerley and "Wild Justice" by Phillip Margosian, both are very scary! I think you might also really enjoy "The First Law Trilogy" by Joe Abercrombie, it's outrageously good and very dark! Enjoy and READ ON...

    Hi:
I have published three books on Amazon Kindle, Smashwords, B&N, etc., and would be delighted if you would add one or more of these books to your TBR list. If you could also write a review, that would be super.

The titles and links for the books are as follows:
The Ghost Of A Flea - Murder in the Big Apple
    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003WQBD96
    https://www.smashwords.com/books/view/20838
Quarantine – A sci-fi thriller set in East Africa
    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003ZSHNUO
    https://www.smashwords.com/books/view/21720
The Watcher – An occult horror thriller set in New England
    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0043GX1C6

Thank you for taking the time to consider my request.
    Have a great day.

Enigma, My favorite is "Hounds of the Baskervilles." I read it when I was about 8 or 9 years old and as I recall it caused me to conger up some pretty scary dreams. After reading it I became a Sir Arthur Conan Doyle follower and still am to this day. Have you read Mark Frost's "List of 7?" I loved it. READ ON...

Enigma, I share several of your passions, reading and "The List of 7" by Mark Frost. Like you I loved this book! I've been a voracious reader for most of my life and feel like I've forgotten something when I don't have a book in my bag or hand. READ ON...

Thanks for replying to my Whodunnit? group. While I'm not an insomniac, I am an inveterate reader -- an addiction as fierce, if less debilitating, than any more common drug. I haunt used bookstores and libraries to support my habit, and since I am totally unable to discard any book I truly love, finding space for my books is an enormous challenge. More later.

Thanks ... let me know what you think of the newsletter. I am a fellow insomniac by the way ... I keep meaning to adjust my life to waking up early a.m., I hear it is refreshing and very productive... but perhaps once an owl always so.
