Hello] I wanted to welcome you to the group Sexuality for a Christian Perspective. Also, I'd like to invite you to preview my book, I Do, at www.trafford.com/06-2407. Those who have read it really enjoy it. It is my autobiography, the story of my life as I read the Book of Deuteronomy and reflect on my own journey through my own wilderness. It is told through short stories and many touching poems. I am available to speak to groups to share my book. It has had a major affect on audiences. My reading aloud tends to be much more powerful than their reading, perhaps because it is heartfelt. I addressed a group of women one time and simply read one poem and they began praising God and praying for each other for a full 30 minutes. It is because my story is everyone's story. Who hasn't endured a storm in life? But I came out and I can assure others that they will too. And I found that the winds of the storm only carried me quicker to my destination. I love reading my own book again and again because each time I am reminded of the many miracles God had wrought in my life and I rise in faith once more.

    Evening,

I spent a few minutes in Haiti this summer when we crossed the Dominican border. It was an open-border market day and we were quickly shuffled back to the DR side by the heavily-armed guards.

A colleague of mine formed the teachers' coalition "Friends Beyond Borders" two years ago. If you would like to check out more info or pics, his site is... web.mac.com/friendsbeyondborders

Outstanding website, and thank you, thank you. You have some wonderful books but more importantly your words of wisdom are so true, when you say "We clearly have a problem! All of us." Thank you again.

Empower is such a prophetic word. It is enriching to know that what we speak over ourselves in a profound and positive way has the ability to (empower) who we are.
