Well shoot... I had misread your 'about me' section. Loved Sister's Choice - it turned my view of surrogacy completely around. I had thought on my first quick glance that you had a #6 in this series out now.
Will there be more offerings in the Shenandoah Album? (I hope, I hope, I hope!)
Just saw your name on another member's page of public notes when I was responding to one of hers.
I truly loved your "Quilting/Shenandoah Series" and am delighted to hear there is a new entry. I was afraid you'd moved onto something else. No doubt that "something else" would have been wonderful as well but, I admit, I had grown very fond of the Shenandoah folk and would miss not revisiting them in new offerings.
Best of luck with the new book,
Hi Emilie. I see that you're reading The Accidental Best Seller by Wendy Wax. I also have that on my list. Let me know how you like it. Can't wait for Happiness Key to come out. I admit that I still haven't read Sister's Choice yet and hopefully I'll get to it soon and can pick up on the characters from the rest of the series.
Ok I wont hold my breath until June 1 for Sister's Choice...cant wait. I was talking to my sister in Utah (VERY small town near Provo) and told her about the shenandoah series. Rather than have her write everything down I sent her Lover's Knot and Endless Chain and the book list. She will love them.
Thanks again for being a good Shelfari friend.
I have read your books and have enjoyed them and recommended them to many of my friends and co-workers over the years. I have just received SISTER'S CHOICE and it is on top of my to be read pile, this series is very heartwarming (isn't that what quilts are noted for?). I haven't tried your mysteries, not my favorite genre of book, but I will probably give one a try sooner rather than later. Keep the wonderful stories coming! I would like to request your friendship, I never talked to an author before.
I read two or three at a time. Always have one in my purse (I eat out a lot). Have one going in living room (sometimes its the bedroom too). If there is one that I must get read I read that at night. As I get to the end of the one at home and am almost done with the one in my purse I put a new one in my purse and finish the one I have been reading. I AM A NUT! But retired doing what I love.
