I love reading. As all of you probably do. I studied history, maybe just because you had to read a lot. I have an eclectic taste, Karen Armstrong and Kate Atkinson, David Mitchell and Haruki Murakami, Karen Slaughter and Harrry Mulisch. I prefer reading books in English, there aren't a lot of Dutch writers I admire. The funniest book I've ever read was A Spot of Bother by Mark Haddon. The book that lingered on and on in my mind after I read it was David Mitchell's Number9Dream. Once in a while, I treat myself to a Murakami, like other people spoill themselves with chocolate.
