I am complex and eclectic, with a passion for science fiction, but I love really good literature.

Books in my shelf are either ones I have read (My Shelf) or ones I plan on reading soon (My Reading List).

I really enjoy 19th and early 20th century American authors. It seems I have yet to find a really good author that has... more »

This book is a fantastic study of character. If you can only read one book this year, this is the one.

Much more coherent to me than Recursion. Fantastic exploration of what constitutes life. Simply a wonderful story.

Fantastic story. Unpredictable. You won't be able to put this book down.

This is likely going to be in my top-ten list of best Sci-Fi books of all time. I could hardly put it down. Card does such a fantastic job creating characters that you just can't help but want to read more. You really feel for the characters. As good as the rest of the story is, it's certainly secondary to the characters.

Recursion is a fantastic story, actually three intertwined stories. The three stories were tightly coupled at first but by the end the do become somewhat unravelled leaving the ending somewhat disappointing. You can really see where the story is going and it is exciting. However, the story never really achieves its potential.
