I love children's books---especially those from the 40s, 50s, 60s and 70s. I'm also a huge fan of intensely realistic fiction (think Tom Perrotta, Anne Tyler, Jonathan Franzen) and cheesy Hollywood biographies (Jerry Lewis, Dean Martin, Katharine Hepburn).
