From a young age I've loved reading books ... I must say that I continue to enjoy children's books, even as the years have passed. =) I believe that my love of reading stems from several sources: 1) not growing up with a television and being expected to figure out how to amuse myself, 2) having parents who also love to read and who have introduced me to some of my favorite books throughout my lifetime, 3) an early exposure to some wonderful classics such as J.R.R. Tolkein's "The Hobit" and "Lord of the Rings" trilogy, C.S. Lewis' "The Chronicles of Narnia" and the Space Trilogy, books by Roald Dahl, and fairy tales by the Brothers Grimm. I usually read fiction, though have come across some non-fiction books that I have enjoyed. I also like to read some mystery (primarily Agatha Christie), theological books (one of my favorite authors is C.S. Lewis), and adventure (Clive Cussler, to whom I have recently been introduced). « less
