“I could not put this book down. I picked it up because it was on sale and a lot of people had read it. The history was included in the story so you never felt lectured to. Of course the witches, vampires and daemons were an interesting group to read about and of course the whole forbidden love...”

“What a wonderful book. Do animals think and if so about what? This book attempts to answer that question. Virginia Morell travels the world to talk to various scientists about animals. Do ants teach, can rats giggle, do dolphins have gangs etc. As she states in the introduction if you have a pet you are not surprised that the science is slowly proving that all species of animals actually do think. Still it was amazing to read about the various experiments and meet the many animals and the personalities that Morell discusses. A must read for all animal lovers.”

“It says this is the last book in Sookie Stackhouse series, i felt kind of sad saying goodbye to the characters in Bon Temps. Sookie had several love interests in this series, but i was really rooting for one character and hoping that she will end up with him - and i was right. I can understand that the excitement i felt reading the first 5 books were different from these last books in the series, predictability of the plot has seeped in. Although the book didn't have a spectacular ending, i still enjoyed reading it.”

“Great plot! Jacob is 14 years old accused of murder, his father the Asst. District Attorney and his mother did their best to defend him. Is there really a "murder gene" ? I found the ending emotionally disturbing. Great book!”

From the tragic Fantine to his beloved Cossette we we lives shattered and rebuilt in post Napolean France. Long at 1222 pages, it was so worth the time to read it.”
