Hi! I'm Annette from Vienna, Austria.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Intercultural Communication and I'm currently studying for a Master's in Translating and Interpreting in German, English and French at the University of Vienna, which is why I'm trying to read as many books in my foreign languages as possible. Apart from reading, I like being outdoors, hiking, cycling, animals, languages, other cultures, world religions, nature, human rights, and watching movies in English and French. I'm very interested in politics (national as well as international) and I love comedy and political satire. My favorite comedy shows are The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and The Colbert Report.

These days, I mostly read British, French and Austrian classics, (political) memoirs and autobiographies, and books about dogs and their training.
Some of my favorite authors are Jane Austen, Elizabeth Gaskell, Charles Dickens, Oscar Wilde, the Brontë Sisters, Shakespeare, Louisa May Alcott, Agatha Christie, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Ferdinand Raimund, Johann Nepomuk Nestroy, Khaled Hosseini, and Eoin Colfer. « less
