I was a public school teacher in the South Bronx for two years. At this job I read to escape my tired life. I also read many children's books to and for my 5th graders. Then I went to law school and worked in the Family Courts in NYC. I took a few months off to live in the Outer Banks, but now I am back in NYC and working in the Criminal Courts. Waiting for judges to be ready often gives me time to read and on the weekends I catch up with more reading!
My shelf includes all the books I have read, even if I do not own them. My reading list is books I own and plan to read soon. My wishlist is books I want to read but so far have not had the opportunity to purchase or borrow from a friend.
