Gretchen just finished it and had rave reviews. Loved the writing, the story, everything. And I am always enchanted with the Dutch. I am looking forward to it.

Hi Megan. Did you see that there's a 2nd Detective Ziele (In The Shadow of Gotham) book? It's called A Curtain Falls and I bought it. Let me know if you don't get it, if you'd like to borrow mine!

I would like to suggest reading THE ENDLESS HOUR- The True Story of a Haunted Soul.I completed publication
    in November 2010.

Over eighteen years in the making,THE ENDLESS HOUR is about an illustration I created in 1988 that became
reality two years later, which involves a spiritual death experience.

This touching and terrifying true story is not only about me.It is also about... you.

For more information go to theendlesshour.com. Once you enter the website you can watch the book video and
read reviews. You may also want to visit amazon.com and read the first seven chapters of THE ENDLESS HOUR.

    Thanks,
    Jesse

Hi Megan. I finished The Bookman's Wake. I thought it was even better than the first one. Do you want me to mail it to your Mom's? When are you all going there for your Christmas?

Sure. As you saw I bought most, if not all, of them. I'm about halfway finished with Booked To Die, and I really like it too. It's so different for a mystery and I, like you, LOVE books!

I glad you liked it, I did too! It was different and I don't think a lot of people enjoyed it as much as I did.

Hi Megan. Let me know what you think about There's No Place Like Here. I really liked it, but a lot of people didn't, so I'm curious if you do.

Hi Megan. Have you read Kate Atkinson When Will There Be Good News? It's another one with Jackson Brodie (from Case Histories). I think you'd really like it. I own it, so remind me to loan it to you when you're here in June.

Nice review of Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet. Now that you mention it I think I felt the same about Keiko and would have liked more.

Another good memoir done in graphic format is Maus by Art Spiegelman. It deals with the author's relationship with his father and his father's history. Haunted me for days.
