I am the principal consultant and technology architect for White Mountain Technology Services. My passion for teaching and learning is borne out of a lifelong love of learning and my desire to share knowledge with others. I am currently serving as the Coordinator of Learning Technologies for Plymouth State University where I focus on online and socio-collaborative learning tools for students and faculty. My background in education is diverse spanning traditional academics, outdoor education, and skills based training. I have taught at both the graduate and undergraduate level for Plymouth State University, served as Assistant Director and Teen Program Coordinator for the Moultonborough Recreation Department and have taught water safety instruction, CPR & First Aid and lifeguard instruction for the American Red Cross. My current focus is on the use of openly accessible, web-based technologies to facilitate teaching and learning in a transparent environment.
I am a collector of degrees with a Master’s degree in Education from Plymouth State University, a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology: Outdoor Education from the University of New Hampshire and an Associates degree in Liberal Arts from Chaminade University of Honolulu. I am now pursuing my Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies through Plymouth State University.
When not sifting through RSS feeds, I can be found climbing, biking and hiking in New Hampshire's White Mountains.
