Gee, it's a shame you haven't read anything by Stephen King, I hear he is a decent author... /s ;)
I often judge a book by its cover which is what drew me to it in the bookstore. Once I saw it was a Holocaust book, I was in since I have a rather morbid collection of Holocaust books. I thought he was a little wordy at times, but I love historical books, and you're right, the pictures were a nice touch.
Hi! I haven't come across anyone who's read The Lost. I just finished it. What did you think? Just curious, what made you want to read it? It inspired me to do a little digging into my family's history since they were from that general region. I found out some interesting stuff.Heidi
