Dear Earthenvessel: I am an author from Massachusetts. My debut novel HUNTING THE KING was published this past year. If you enjoy reading a good thriller like DA VINCI CODE, you may enjoy HUNTING, too. HUNTING THE KING is a fast-paced page-turner that follows archaeologist Molly O’Dwyer into war torn Iraq in search of the remains of Jesus. ForeWord Magazine says: “Fans of intellectual thrillers and historical fiction will find a worthy new voice in Clenott. His best invention may be Molly O’Dwyer, a genuinely likable heroine who more than holds her own in a man’s world. An ambitious scientist, she is also an observant Catholic whose heart and mind don’t always agree. Given such an auspicious start, the sequel can’t come too soon.” Molly O’Dwyer is an in-your-face woman with a mysterious background who’s about to go on the adventure of a lifetime.

To get a good sense of how powerful the book is, check out the heart-pounding book trailer on YouTube or on my web site at www.peterclenott.com. It is like watching a preview for an exciting movie. The novel is equally exciting.

You can find it on Amazon.com, Borders, Barnes & Noble, or your local library or independent bookstore. I hope you’ll take a look. And let me know what you think.

    Thanks. Peter.

    Eclectic Book Club Peeps:

All righty, let's have those nominations for our next big read. What's everyone in the mood for?

Post your selections in the "Genres" thread and we'll hash it out. If that takes too much energy, I will put all genres nominated in a hat and pick one at random!

Hi, Earthenvessel! Looks like we have a few of the same books. Most notably, "The Shack" which was an earth-shattering experience for me (and still is - I've re-read it a few times since)... what did you think?

Hello there! You have a very interesting mix of books. I smiled when I saw "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie". It's such an adorable children's book (and kids at heart)! "If You Give a Pig a Pancake" and "If You Give a Moose a Muffin" are great as well.

    Hello,
I just wanted to extend a warm welcome to Play Book Tag. I'm the moderator there, and I'm still so excited when new members join. We just started a new tag, Young Adult, so hope you'll join us and read a ya book this month. You've got a great shelf. I love how you've rated so many classics with 5 stars . . .I don't see that often. I'm a Steinbeck fan myself although I have yet to read East of Eden, and it is sitting on my bookshelf just waiting for me!

Thanks for accepting my friendship invitation.
I've written a book series you might enjoy. "How Do You Know He’s Real?" features the testimonies of more than 100 actors, recording artists and athletes who share how their faith has impacted their lives in the spotlight.

You can read excerpts and see the list of participants on my website, www.amyhagberg.com.

Happy New Year - I hope this is your best year ever!

I love your taste in children's books. They reflect the taste of my parents...which reflect my own taste, not that my wife and I have two boys in diapers.

Thank you for the friendship invitation! I saw that you were one of the very few readers who have A Hatred for Tulips on your shelf. It's been on my "wish list" and it's good to see that you liked it. We seem to have quite a number of books in common, so as soon as I see that it's in paperback, I'll dive right in. ~ Carla
