I am one of those people who doesn't have a lot of hobbies, but reading is one of the things that I love doing even as a little girl. Although I haven't read that many books, so I wouldn't say I'm an expert like most people I know. I'm also bad at remembering details so names and places I usually easily forget, but I remember mostly how a book or a story makes me feel, or how it affects me as a person. It can be a passage, a scene or how I can relate to a character. Like for example to Elizabeth in Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice and how she would only marry for love. I also get comfortable with authors to whose I enjoy reading, and I tend to go back to them, but there are only a few who have done this for me. Three to be exact, Robert Fulghum whose style of writing has taught me in my writing skills, Anne Lamont who has helped me in the basics of novel writing, and Nora Roberts who is my favorite romance novelist, and of course Jane Austen who is my favorite classical writer. « less
