Thanks...so many people have read this book-author and I am just discovering it. I really liked the one he wrote called; "The Darkest Evening". I wish all my nieces and nephews as well as children and grandchildren would read this as well! I have sent Paul and Caroline as well as Matt a copy of "The Darkest Evening" and hope to follow up sending them the one about Sampo Lake. My supervisor is of Finnish background and grew up on the "range". We usually all go together and giv eher a Christmas gift and I have already suggested "The Song of Sampo Lake" and the book "The darkest Evening" as a gift we could give her this Christmas. It is nice to hear from you! Have a good summer. love, Pat
Hi! Come check out my group for Minnesotans, at: http://www.shelfari.com/groups/25210/aboutforgive me if I already invited you; hope you can stop by the group!
Hi,I just saw that you have read the garden gates series. I just finished the second one Always green. I liked the first two very much. I was afraid that to much religion was going to be in the second one. I don't mind a little but don't want to much either. What did you think of the third book? Also would you like to become my frind/Delphina
hhhhhheyyyyyyyyyyyy
Diane, Do you ever rate or write a note about the books? I especially am curious because you read so many youth books. Donna
It was good to ehar from you. I do have some memories wirtten up on my computer someplace. Will check all that out in 2008. I noticed you have books for pre-teens and teens on your site. I may ask for advice and help in selecting books for LIndsey to read. Along with pj's the grandkids get books or something else for their mind, soul and spirit at Christmas.
Hello! I noticed your name on a couple of books I was reading comments about. I had to email you because I just moved away from Rochester, MI! We're now in Washington State and it's nice, but I miss Michigan! Tell me about the Maud Hart Lovelace group. I re-read the Betsy-Tacy series earlier this year and enjoyed them just as much as I did as a child. Take care! KateD.
Hi May i have a place in your friends list
Hi ~ I noticed you have read Why the Sky is Blue, and mentioned going to hear Susan Meissner. Did you get to go? I really liked this book. Is her other books as good?
Hi,I really like this site. I was looking for it all weekend and came up with Librarything, but I think I like this one better. Donna
Hi Diane, I like this site and I think it would be a good one to use for a bookclub. If you are interested in attending book club with me at Heather Willman's it's Wed. February 28 at 6 pm......Joanne
