Well I don't read as much as I'd like to. I have to admit that is mainly my own fault, I'd much rather sit down and watch a great movie then read. But I am trying to change this. They say to become a better writer you must, read, read and did they mention read!!
I realized a couple of days after my grandfather died that I wanted to be a storyteller. Everyday of his life he told stories - sometimes ones that you had heard a hundred times, although he did tell them better each time - and funnier. Looking back at his life that week, I realized he was the ideal roll model and that I wanted to have my grandchildren look back at my life and see and think the same.
Writing is my passion. Weaving together complex stories of people you've grown to love is just amazing. God has blessed me with such a gift of being able to do something I love.
I am currently a member of the Christian Writers Guild, engaged in their apprentice level course. I am webmaster and moderator of the Christian Writers Forum. I also contribute to the forum blog (http://christianwritersforum.com/Blog). I'm proud to be apart of the Missing Pages Book Club at the forums.
